Worship is not about us. But it is much less about us than we even realize. At the heart of worship is the idea that we enter into community with one another, with the on-going worship of heaven, and with the holy community of our eternal Triune God. As such, corporate worship is less about what we do for God (and much less about how we feel when we do what we do) and more about celebrating who God is and what He has done and continues to do. We fully engage in the Story of God—the Holy God who was and is and is to come, the redemptive God who saves, the eternal God who is the Author of our Days.

Over six weeks, we will explore a message series entitled, “Worship: Engaging in God’s Story.” We encourage you to participate fully in each week in this series, including the various forms and expressions we will explore each Sunday.

Tech Team

The Tech Team is a group of volunteers who serve during our services and special events in sound, lighting, multimedia, and videography. It’s a fun and tight group of folks who serve up in our tech booth, and they get to play with some of the coolest equipment on campus. If you have experience mixing sound, doing stage or lighting design, using PowerPoint, or you know how to point a camera (or you want to learn how to do any of these things), please contact our Creative Arts Pastor, Manuel Luz, at manuel.luz@oakhills.org. We provide the training—and the best seat in the house!
