Spread good cheer this Advent with “Good Neighbor Goodie Bags”, available at the Welcome/Formation Booth in the lobby. Grab a few and deliver them to local friends to remind them you are glad they are your neighbor and to remind ourselves to be praying for our neighbors and be present in our neighborhood.

A small group of Oak Hillians will be returning to rural Alaska April 20–30 on a mission trip to provide for some of the needs of the Tlingit people who live in the town of Klukwan. YEAR-END OFFERING // Throughout December

For our Year-End Offering this year we are continuing our focus on debt reduction. Specifically, we are attempting to lower our monthly mortgage payments by completely paying off the smaller of our two loans. As is our custom, 10% of what comes in will be designated to go beyond our walls, and this year it will go towards replenishing our Disaster Relief Fund and towards helping to fund the remodel of Building E, which houses several of our ministry partners.

We encourage you to use our Giving Portal for easy, secure giving. However you give, please indicate “Year-End Offering” with your gift. We will receive this special offering December 17; however, you can give to this throughout the month of December. Thank you for your faithful giving and service to the Kingdom!

On Christmas Eve, we will have two different services. Our morning services at 9AM and 11AM will be a continuation of our Advent celebration, and children’s programming will be provided. That evening, come celebrate the Christ child’s arrival at our Candlelight Christmas Service at 9PM. Sorry, no children’s programming will be provided at this latter service.

We are looking for volunteers to help with our children’s programming at the 9am and 11am services. Consider serving during one service and attending the other. Contact for more information.

Let’s gather together as a church family for a single service as we prepare to ring in the new year!

Please contact Chris Johnson at

Do you love making people feel welcome? Do you have an eye for details, or a gift for hospitality? The Welcome Team needs new team members for the 11:00 services. The commitment is once or twice a month, and involves coming half an hour before the service to get ready. If you are interested, contact Pastor Lorraine Rothenburg at

If you have a heart to serve in the youth ministry but are not able to commit on a consistent basis, the Family Ministry team would love for you to consider bringing a light meal (or two) to a Sunday evening youth group. Having a meal together is a great time to strengthen relationships and build community. If you are interested, please CLICK HERE to sign up. For more information, please contact Jacquie deMontel at

We invite the congregation to bring a Sunday morning snack between services to the back of the auditorium and spend time in fellowship with one another. If you are willing and able, please bring a snack to share from time to time – muffins, cookies, fruit, veggies or whatever else you desire! This is a wonderful time to have a snack and spend leisurely time enjoying one another as a church family.
