God is at the center of all creation—self-existent and almighty and eternal—and by His very nature, he causes all things to be, and also sustains it by the mere act of His will. He made us, loves us, and gives us not only life, but meaning as well. Our stories may be small but they are consequential in His vast and eternal metanarrative. It’s like each of our lives is a strand of thread that has been carefully woven in the fabric of time to create this beautiful tapestry. And God is the maker of that tapestry. And in spite of us, God loves us enough to slowly but surely act upon the universe, redeeming us and all creation. Now I don’t know about you, but I think that’s a pretty cool story..."
